Your digital business card. No app needed on the other end.
OvniCard turns your contact details into a QR code, a link and an NFC tag that any phone can save in one tap — and reads the paper business cards you collect right on your iPhone.
The iPhone app is coming to the App Store. The web app works today on any phone.
Share your card three ways
QR code business card
Your QR is a standard vCard. Point any camera at it and the phone offers “Add to Contacts”. No download, no signup, no server in the middle.
A link that carries your card
Your card travels inside the link itself, so sharing it uploads nothing. Paste it in a text, an email signature or a bio.
NFC business card
Write your card to an NFC sticker or card and let people tap it with their phone. Read someone else’s tag to open their card.
A business card scanner that stays on your phone
Photograph a paper business card and OvniCard finds the card in the shot, flattens it and reads it with your iPhone’s own text recognition. The text is sorted into name, title, company, phones, emails, website and address — by Apple Intelligence on iPhones that have it, and by the built-in parser everywhere else. The photo is read on the device. Fields the reader is unsure about are flagged so you can check them; it never invents a value.
Who it is for
OvniCard is made for people who meet people: real estate agents at open houses, contractors on a job site, sales reps at a trade show, freelancers at a meetup, and anyone who still gets handed paper cards. Put your QR on your phone’s lock screen, print it on the back of your paper card, or stick an NFC tag on your laptop or badge. When someone hands you a card in return, scan it before you leave the conversation, add a note about where you met, and the follow-up writes itself. Everything works offline once the app is installed, so a convention hall with no signal is not a problem.
Contacts the way you remember people
Save when and where you met someone, a category, and how important the contact is. Search “expo” and find the person from the expo. Export everything as a .vcf file whenever you like.
Private by construction

Frequently asked questions
Does the person I meet need the app?
No. Your QR code is a standard vCard, so any phone camera offers to save you as a contact, and your link opens your card in any browser. Nobody on the other side installs anything or signs up for anything.
Is there an account?
No. OvniCard has no accounts, no sign-in and no password. Your card and the contacts you collect live on your own phone.
Where are my contacts stored?
On your device, inside the app. They are not synced to us and we cannot see them. Export them any time as a .vcf file, the format every address book reads. Deleting the app deletes them, so export first if you switch phones.
How does the business card scanner work?
Take a photo of a paper card (or pick one from Photos). On iPhone the text is read by Apple's on-device text recognition and sorted into name, title, company, phone, email, website and address. On iPhones with Apple Intelligence, the on-device model does the sorting. Uncertain fields are flagged for you to check.
What NFC tags work?
Blank NDEF tags. NTAG215 and NTAG216 stickers or cards hold a full card; a small NTAG213 holds your card without the About text. Writing needs an iPhone 7 or later. A locked tag cannot be rewritten.
What does OvniCard cost?
The iPhone app is free to download and every feature in it is free today.
Is there an Android version?
OvniCard also runs in any modern browser, including on Android, as a web app at linkcard-cbc.pages.dev.
