Terms of Use
Effective 8 October 2026.
These terms cover the OvniCard iPhone app, the OvniCard web app and ovnicard.com (together, “OvniCard”). By using OvniCard you agree to them. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Using OvniCard
- You may use OvniCard to make, share and collect business card details for personal or business networking.
- Only put details on your card that you have the right to share, and only scan cards that were given to you or that you are otherwise allowed to keep.
- Do not use OvniCard to send spam, to impersonate someone, or to break any law.
Your content
Your card, your contacts and your photos are yours. They are stored on your device; we do not claim any rights in them and do not receive them, except as described in the privacy policy.
Keep your own copy
Because your data lives only on your device, losing or resetting the device, deleting the app or clearing browser data can erase it. Export your contacts regularly. We cannot restore data we never had.
Price
OvniCard is free to use today. If paid features are added later, they will be clearly marked and sold through the App Store in the iPhone app; nothing you use today will be charged for without your choice.
No warranty
OvniCard is provided “as is”. Text recognition and field sorting can make mistakes, so check scanned details before you rely on them. We do not promise that OvniCard will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work with every NFC tag or device.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, OvniCard and its makers are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, arising from your use of OvniCard. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use OvniCard after a change means you accept the updated terms.
